Qualified Information Security Professional Programme
Raising
Professional Proficiency
Security is a high priority globally. Cyber attacks are happening
with increasing frequency and intensity. These can have crippling consequences
for businesses and organizations that do not have qualified information
security professionals to handle and manage cyber security threats.
To support the development of personnel in this demanding
profession, the Association of Information Security Professionals (AISP), an
industry initiative supported by the Infocomm
Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), has launched the Qualified Information Security Professional
(QISP) programme.
QISP training is jointly
developed by AISP and the Institute of Systems
Science, a specialist IT training institute of the National University
of Singapore.
Designed for
Entry to mid-level Information
Security Professionals, and any IT Professionals who
wish to gain more comprehensive knowledge in this field.
Course Duration
5.5 days course of lectures and workshops
35 e-learning hours (supported by e-Mentoring)
Assessment Method
Candidates will be assessed
through examinations. It will consist of MCQs and written paper.
Admission and Fees
S$6,634 (including GST)
S$663.40 (including GST) *
Nett fee after 90% funding from the SPUR (Skills Programme
for Upgrading and Resilience) grant from the Workforce Development Agency.
Funding rate is valid till November 2010 only.)
