SINGAPORE CYBER DAY 2020
The Singapore Cyber Security Inter Association (SCSIA) has marked 2 November 2020 as its inaugural
Singapore Cyber Day and wants to reach out to students in Singapore who are keen to know more about
cyber security and how they can be part of our community.
SCSIA believes cybersecurity vocation is a calling and wants to bring this message closer to
Singapore’s future generations. We are reaching out to Singapore primary and secondary schools and
pre-universities to talk about cybersecurity profession and how everyone is part of Singapore’s
cybersecurity ecosystem and our cyber resilience.
For its first Singapore Cyber Day, SCSIA volunteers are involved in a series of school talks for
secondary school and pre-university students. There are two parts to the virtual talks:
- Part 1 on AiSP YouTube channel (2 to 7 November 2020), and
- Part 2 on Zoom (for registrants only, 1 to 4 December 2020).
SCSIA consists of professional and industry associations: AiSP, Centre for Strategic Cyberspace + International Studies (CSCIS), Cloud Security Alliance Singapore Charter, HTCIA Singapore Chapter, ISACA Singapore Chapter, (ISC)2 Singapore Chapter, SCS, SGTech and The Law Society of Singapore.
