In 1989, as HDB's CIO, Alex led cyberdefense initiatives. Over the years he was a strong advocate for Security Policy, Governance, and leads three cybersecurity firms and CSA Singapore Chapter.

In his volunteer and cyber community work, Johnny Kho has made contribution under AISP and other professional associations Strengthening Cybersecurity Awareness: He focused on enhancing public awareness about cybersecurity issues through various campaigns and educational initiatives. Community Engagement: Johnny fostered collaboration among cybersecurity professionals, promoting networking and sharing of best practices within the community and this is through formation of Special Interest Groups under AISP and cross-collaboration with other like-minded association. Advocacy for Cybersecurity Policies: He actively engaged with government bodies to advocate for better cybersecurity policies and frameworks, ensuring that the concerns of professionals in the field were represented. Professional Development Programs: Under his leadership, AiSP introduced various training and certification programs aimed at upskilling professionals in the cybersecurity sector. Events and Conferences: Johnny played a significant role in organizing key events and conferences under AISP that brought together industry leaders to discuss current trends and challenges in cybersecurity.

Leonard served in transformative leadership roles for both global and national organizations. He achieved "the firsts" milestones including global ISO27001 & MLPS Level 3 certifications, and establishing regional cybersecurity function. In this current role, he took on a significant challenge of a complex public healthcare sector. He is responsible for addressing cyber and technology risks right from the core through cybersecurity policies, sector-wide risk management framework and methodology, Medical Device & Operational Technology, CII cyber readiness, crisis management and cyber awareness. He has been appointed for additional duties leading Enterprise Risk Management and Data Protection for Synapxe, the national healthtech agency.

Chairing OT-ISAC Executive Committee, OT cybersecurity competencies highlighted in Singapore OT Cybersecurity Masterplans have been elevated in Singapore and beyond. Steering ISACA Singapore as President (2021-2022), its 3381 strong membership and public were provided with 310 Continuing Professional Education hours via 105 sharing sessions and 2 annual conferences, resulting in global ISACA Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award. As member of ISACA Information Security Advisory Group and member of Technical Community for Geneva Dialogue for Responsible Behaviors in Cyberspace, Steven also topic-leads 9.7K-member strong ISACA Emerging Technology Forum, exuding thought leadership in the intersections of risk governance with use/misuse of AI, etc.

My career in cybersecurity has been defined by a global perspective and an unyielding drive to create change. I am proud of the impact my work has made across different countries and cultures. Breaking barriers has been at the core of my journey—whether it's as a woman in tech, transitioning mid-career, navigating technical disciplines without formal training, or leading through a pandemic. Each challenge has fueled my commitment to shaping a more secure digital world. These experiences underscore the potential within each of us to shatter glass ceilings. I hope my journey can inspire others to leave a lasting mark on their chosen field.

Being a cybersecurity enthusiast since Secondary 3, I have consistently pursued excellence in both academic and professional settings. From leading NYP Infosec SIG as President, I have contributed to the cybersecurity community through leading of numerous workshops and CTF events. Additionally, my role as owner of IngeniousApplications has allowed me to launch various initiatives for the community, and providing valuable mentorship to the future generation. These efforts underscore my unwavering dedication to advancing cybersecurity, fostering a culture of security awareness, and my desire to continue to push the limits on what is possible while mentoring our future cybersecurity professionals.
